Octolane generates notes automatically from your emails, meetings, and agent activity. Key details, decisions, and context are captured and attached to the right deal, contact, or company - without you typing anything.

Auto-generated notes

When a significant interaction happens - an important email exchange, a meeting, a deal stage change - Octolane creates a note summarizing what happened. These notes capture:
  • Key decisions made
  • Pricing or budget discussions
  • Next steps agreed upon
  • Important context or objections raised
  • Changes in stakeholders or timeline

Manual notes

You can also create notes manually on any deal, contact, or company page. Type them yourself or dictate them via AI Chat (e.g., “Add a note to the Acme deal: they need board approval before proceeding”).

Finding notes

Notes appear in the Activity Feed on the relevant record page. You can also search across all notes using the global search bar.
