Octolane supports team collaboration with role-based access control. Invite your team and set permissions so everyone has the access they need.

Inviting teammates

Go to Settings → Team → Invite and enter your teammates’ email addresses. They’ll receive an invitation to join your workspace.

Roles

Octolane has two roles:
  • Admin - full access. Can customize the data model, edit pipeline stages, manage agents, configure integrations, manage billing, and invite or remove members.
  • Member - standard access. Can view and interact with deals, contacts, companies, and agents. Can approve agent actions for their own deals. Cannot change workspace-wide settings.

What happens when teammates join

When a new team member connects their email and calendar:
  • Their existing contacts and conversations are merged into the shared CRM
  • Duplicate records are automatically detected and merged
  • The team gets a unified view of all relationships and activity

Removing team members

Admins can remove members from Settings → Team. When a member is removed, their data remains in the CRM but is no longer associated with their account.
