Switching CRMs shouldn’t take weeks. Octolane makes it easy to bring your existing data over - whether you’re coming from HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or a spreadsheet.

Import from a CSV or spreadsheet

The fastest way to bring data into Octolane:
  1. Go to Settings → Import
  2. Upload your CSV file
  3. Map your columns to Octolane fields (or create new custom fields on the fly)
  4. Review the preview and confirm
Octolane automatically detects common column names like “Company,” “Email,” “Deal Stage,” and “Phone” and maps them for you.

Migrate from another CRM

From HubSpot

Export your contacts, companies, and deals from HubSpot as CSV files, then import them into Octolane using the steps above. Octolane maps HubSpot’s standard fields automatically.

From Salesforce

Export your Salesforce objects (Leads, Contacts, Accounts, Opportunities) as CSV files via Data Export or Reports, then import into Octolane. Custom fields can be recreated in Octolane’s Custom Data Model.

From Pipedrive

Export your Pipedrive data from Settings → Export data, then import the CSV into Octolane.

What gets imported

You can import:
  • Contacts - names, emails, phone numbers, job titles, and any custom fields
  • Companies / Accounts - company names, domains, size, industry
  • Deals / Opportunities - deal names, stages, values, close dates, associated contacts

After import

Once your data is in Octolane, the agents take over. Contacts and companies are automatically enriched with up-to-date information. Deals connected to active email threads start updating themselves. You don’t need to maintain imported data manually - Octolane keeps it current.
You don’t have to import everything at once. Many teams start by connecting email and calendar, letting Octolane build the pipeline organically, and only importing historical deals they want to track.
